When the new Elpenhaler medical device launched, we wanted to create an innovative way to showcase its new design and way of use to HCPs and patients. We built an Augmented Reality Application creating an interactive experience enhanced by computer-generated perceptual information.
The AR app, developed for iOS and Android, could be installed on any mobile device. Reps, doctors and patients scanned a “trigger” and a superimposed 3D image of the new Elpenhaler device magically appeared in front of them. The device was interactive and users could choose to open, close, rotate and get to know all its features. The app also provided an instructional video for the new device.
The AR application created buzz and enthusiasm and helped educate HCPs and patients alike.
